Day 01 — Your favorite song
okay, i dont really have a favorite song. i have like 50. basically i like songs that are mellow.. have a good beat.. old songs.. yeaah. i dont really like rap, so 102.7 kiis fm & 97.1 amp radio really annoys me when theyre both on rap songs. and i’m resulted to listen to nothing. but shirin burned me a CD and taught me how to do it. so heres my list of favorite songs
1. hey soul sister - train
2. drops of jupiter - train
3. soul of fireflies - norwegein recycling
4. viva la viral - norwegein recycling
5. how 6 songs collide - norwegein recycling
6. 100 years - 5 for fighting…..
the list goes on and on. but for now, my favorite song is probably “drops of jupiter - train”. somewhat old song, and i STILL don’t fully understand the song, but i love it.
Day 02 — Your favorite movie
lets see, my favorite movie. okay well if anyone reads this, im pretty sure they know that i love horror films. and yeah. its probably tied between Spirited Away and Quarantine.
so spirited away: such a deep storyline and plot & great soundtrack. i seriously felt sad and full of emotion while watching it. the end made you go like “wait.. what happens next!?!?!”. like usually, i’m against sequels because they usually ruin the classic movie (lion king 1 1/2.. lion king 2.. etc), but i actually want a sequel for this movie! i know it would probably ruin the movie, though. it’s gonna be hard to have a sequel that is as good as the first movie, which is probably why there isn’t a sequel. but yeah, spirited away ranks #1, along with:
Quarantine: actually, i never watched quarantine. i watched the Spanish original with subtitles, called [REC]. (like record). but the plotline is pretty much the same. so quarantine/rec: i felt it had a really good plot & its definitely plausible, like it could happen in real life. that’s probably what freaked me out. oh yeah, and there wasn’t any FREAKING BACKGROUND MUSIC. so that really added to the effect of how great it was. usually, horror movies rely on background music to add to the suspense, or else it won’t be scary. but quarantine HAD none. which proved that it was actually pretty scary. and then i like zombies, so the fact that quarantine was mostly about zombies was a bonus.
so yeah these are my favorite movies. feel free to watch them with me anytime, i’d be glad to watch them again! and i’m always up for horror films, so if you wanna watch any, let me know and i’ll probably be down for it.
